Marajah Mumbai

Hello! Today I am going to be reviewing the Marajah Mumbai hookah from Brazil. It’s a very small stem that is great for travels and to put it quite frankly it hits like a truck. This hookah breaks down into a lot of smaller pieces but don’t worry! The threading is thick and beefy so expect them to endure a lot of your travels. The hookah is made out of aluminum as stated by the owner. The downstem has a built in diffuser which works pretty well but I wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s as good as a heba diffuser.
The stem follows a traditional chamber so you can expect no air leaks from this machined piece. As you can see this stem doesn’t go on your normal base but rather on a mya base for their qt, gelato, and econo line hookahs which minimalizes it’s size.
When it comes to airflow you can expect a wide open draw. If I was to compare it I would put it between a Regal and a Starbuzz MIA in terms of draw. I’d like to take a second to discuss the purge. This is probably the easiest purge I’ve ever had to deal with BUT it does seem to get stuck on the swirls of the purge valve on rare occasion. I’ve had this happen with both mine and my friends. A quick tap on the purge and you’re good to go.
I really like this hookah and as a college student I am traveling to see my girlfriend and to go home to visit my family and this is the hookah I will be taking on those trips. It’s perfect in size and smokes fantastically. I’ve also used it on my desk and it’s quite heavy so even using a d hose hasn’t really brought me to worry about it tipping over and you will find will some other short brass stems. Honestly if you find yourself traveling a lot or just want something smaller to smoke on your desk this is the hookah to get. For only 70 dollars with a base it’s kind of a steal. If you want to get this pipe you can find it over on 5starhookah.com
