Trifecta Bona Fide

Trifecta is a hookah tobacco company based in the United States. This flavor came out a few years back and honestly, it’s been sitting in my stash since I got it about 1-2 years ago. I regret not trying it until now because it’s the banana flavor I’ve been searching for all this time. Back in the day, I used to smoke a decent bit of Haze Bananarama but it’s been a while since I’ve smoked that. Plus, this is closer to a plain banana than Bananarama, which is a dessert flavor.
Generally speaking, Trifecta Blonde is a light to medium color leaf but since mine has been sitting around for a while it has darkened. Trifecta is a relatively finely chopped leaf, for a blonde, and it’s pretty juicy as well. With Trifecta Blonde you’ll experience a light buzz if you’re newer to smoking but seasoned smokers likely won’t feel anything at all. It smells like a more natural banana compared to most on the market. You also get notes of some sort of spice mix.

For longevity, I’ve come to have high expectations for Trifecta and they didn’t drop the ball here. Whether it be a single round of coals (8-10g bowl) or multiple rounds of coals (16-20g bowl) it continues to push forward. I am getting great flavor and cloud longevity throughout my session.
I packed this tobacco in an Oblako M bowl with a pack somewhere in between your fluff and your standard Al Fakher pack. Make sure it’s roughly 1mm below the rim and you’ll be golden, otherwise, you risk the chance of burning it. For this pack, I was using the AOT Provost and two CocoUrth Cube charcoals.

This flavor consists of several components that together create a beautiful spiced banana flavor. If I had to guess I’d say the three main spices are brown sugar, cinnamon, and allspice. The banana itself is natural in taste. It tastes ripe and sweet. For once I’m not reminded of Laffy Taffy style candy banana in a hookah tobacco flavor. I truly feel these flavors come together to create something special when it comes to banana flavors. I’ve tried a handful and they don’t hold a candle to this one.

I enjoyed this a decent bit as a standalone flavor and mixed. My go to combination for mixing with this has been Trifecta Peppermint Shake. My recommendation is don’t think twice if you’re looking to give a banana flavor a go. You can pick it up from using my discount code sloth15 for 15% off your order (doesn’t include items on sale).
