Fumari Mojito Mojo

Hello everyone! Sorry for the long wait. I know you’ve all been waiting for my thoughts on this one. Today I have a review for you all on Fumari’s newest addition, Mojito Mojo. A Mojito is traditionally a drink made of fresh mint, lime, sugar, and rum mixture. This tastes more like spearmint and lime. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good but it’s not what I expected out of the mixture.
The leaves are light brown and coated with juices. In the past, Fumari was known for being way too juicy. I haven’t experienced that issue in a long time and this batch has been no exception. The glycerin to tobacco ratio is perfect for a modern tobacco in my opinion. Fumari to me is a one and done when it comes to rounds of coals. I smoked this for about an hour and felt there was little to no flavor loss. The cloud output was excellent as well.
I typically like to pack Fumari in my Sky Mini bowl. I enjoy packing my Fumari bowls by sprinkling the shisha to the rim with a fluff pack and then patting it down ever so slightly. This flavor is rather nice for what it is. Is it a perfect mojito replica? No. Does it taste good? Yes! The mint aspect of this flavor heavily reminds me of spearmint which doesn’t really replicate the mojito drink that I’m used to drinking. The lime and spearmint compliment each other nicely. I think the spearmint is the star of the show while the lime is the underlying taste which blend together quite nicely. The mint isn’t too overpowering. I’d opt to say it’s a 60/40 blend. Regardless, it tastes very natural in terms of the spearmint and lime. I’m wondering if they choose spearmint to reproduce the rum characteristic of the drink. Overall, I think this a nice combination. I don’t think it’s a stretch to call this the “best” mojito flavor on the market as I think Al Fakher did a rather subpar job along with Fantasia’s and Starbuzz’s variations which I’m not even going to bother trying.
